FAIRFAX, Va. - Paige Bouma, vice president of RV Trader, an online site with millions of monthly visitors who are looking for an RV, will present an hour-long seminar titled “The Rise of the RV Renter: Tapping into the Newest RV Revenue Stream” as part of the rental education track at the 2019 RV Dealers Convention/Expo coming up Nov. 11-15, 2019 at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. The convention, sponsored by RVDA–The National RV Dealers Association, RVDA of Canada, and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center, includes education tracks that offer training in targeted content on F&I, sales, social media/eMarketing, fixed operations, rentals, and general management.
In her workshop, Bouma will share exclusive research into the demographics of rental consumers and their online behaviors. Some 76% of renters say they are likely to buy in the next 2 years and more than half rent an RV 2-3 times before purchasing. Topics covered will include: what separates an RV renter from an RV buyer; ways to meet the expectations of an RV renter; and how to create an environment to convert renters into buyers. A preview of Bouma’s presentation is available on YouTube.
