Messe Düsseldorf reports on the outcome of the All in Caravaning (AIC) trade fair in China. With 700 exhibitors showcasing 450 vehicles on 376,700 square feet of exhibit space to 22,193 visitors from 20 countries, the 7th staging of the All in Caravaning (AIC) trade fair closed with successful results. This was the show’s first staging at the Etrong International Exhibition & Convention Center in Beijing. AIC 2018 was organized by Messe Düsseldorf Shanghai, a subsidiary of Messe Düsseldorf, renowned as the organizer of Caravan Salon, the leading international caravan and RV trade fair held annually in Düsseldorf, Germany.
According to the press release, Axel Bartkus, General Manager of Messe Düsseldorf Shanghai, commented: “We were completely confident moving to the new exhibition venue. The positive response to AIC this year proves that this is a wise decision which is in line with market demands, and we have withstood this test. The enthusiasm of visitors for RV vacation continues to rise which is very exciting for us, and reassures the trend for the future.” The AIC 2018 ancillary program included the outdoor “B9 Game Zone” and the “AIC CLUB’s family activity zone” with educational programs to get young families interested in the RV lifestyle. This year, AIC launched its first “Caravaners’ Camping Zone” for RV fans staying in their own vehicles. About 300 visitors with 200 caravans made use of this zone during the three-day event.
