An RV repair shop owned by Thomas Brown, is seeing a surge in RVers and a boost in business. Brown is a certified technician who recently opened up shop in May. He explains how the economy has affected the RV industry, and how things are looking up. “People are moving into their RVs, so that keeps us busy during the off season, too. … This industry used to be almost seasonal, but now it’s not.”
Moreover, he continues to explain how word of mouth has been their number one advertising strategy and that a business card and a good handshake is enough to get things going. “We still have room to fit people in, but we’re really busy, I figure, from now until Labor Day,” Brown said.
