CINCINNATI, Ohio - Independent research firm, Franchise Business Review, named Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts to its list of the Top 100 Most Innovative Franchise Brands of 2019. The rankings are based on surveys of over 25,000 franchisees and are the only ranking of franchises based 100 percent on actual franchisee satisfaction and performance. The campground franchise was also named a top franchise for women by the publication. Jellystone was ranked No. 202 in Entrepreneur magazine’s 2019 Franchise 500 rankings, based on performance in areas that include unit growth, financial strength and stability, and brand power, and was No. 1 in the campgrounds category.
Founded in 1969, Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts, now with 84 franchise locations, is the only campground chain in the U.S. that focuses solely on the family demographic. Franchise Business Review found that becoming a franchisee with Jellystone requires $200,000 in cash as well as an initial investment of from $100,000 to $2 million.
