An RVer's lifestyle is desirable, yet not always as effortless as one might think .More specifically, outdoor enthusiasts or campers who own a recreational vehicle and travel often, endure troubles with travel, expenses, space and plenty more. But that doesn't stop them from enjoying life to the fullest and exploring the great outdoors as much as they can. RVers are a special group that can’t be denied. The RV Bunch is a Facebook group that caters to this and all facets the RV life has to offer- the good, the unfavorable, the opportunistic, the fun, and much more.
For one, the group will be educational in nature, provided much needed tips that are rarely laid out anywhere else by seasoned RVers. The questions range from general RV lifestyle concerns to rig-specific technical issues one may have. For example, one member requested tips on leveling her camper. She received numerous personalized responses by individuals who have ‘been there done that’, and this not only gave her the answer she was seeking but also various possible options that she can now decide which fits her situation best. Another member wrote in response: “First level from side to side (blocks under the tires) before you unhook then front to back using the tongue jack after you unhook and chock the tires. I recommend a level in the fridge and not just the floor of the trailer.” Group engagement as a whole for the past month of January 2019 came in at 551.8K, up 17% from the last month. Our growth is in our numbers and it shows within the group with the amount of activity taking place. Just last week, we had nearly 1,000 posts added to the discussion, and this happens continually on a weekly basis. As for our following, for the month of January we’ve added 2,871 new members, making the current total 35,000 “RV Bunchers”, and counting.
Can’t find the topic you are looking for? Don’t worry, it’s there. Just search the group and you’re likely to join in on a discussion that may lead to new facts. One can even join in a conversation about investing in an RV park. One user introduced the interest of doing so and the response was overwhelming. One person even chimed in saying, “Sales people will answer questions when you are ready. Once you pick the one, it is mandatory that you go through a training course by a certified tech, he will tell and show you everything about your RV. Even the hitch department will be at the site to teach you about your hitch.” Much useful feedback was exchanged and the user hit the jackpot from his target market.
If you’d rather not search and sift through all the posts, you may simply pose your concern, advice and/or expressions to 35,000+ members who are in love with the outdoors. The outdoor industry has been accelerating for some time, as more and more adventurers get wind of the beautiful National Parks in this country. “National parks have experienced record-breaking visitation, with more than 1.5 billion visitors in the last five years,” according to a recent statement by the National Park Service.
Not only that, but outdoor recreational opportunities are always there and evolving. According to the Outdoor Industry Association (OIA), the allure of the great outdoors attracted 13.6 million people who tried outdoor activities for the 1st time or returned after a hiatus in 2017. To complement this, RV wholesale shipments were expected to reach 505,900 units by the end of 2018, a slight increase over the 504,599 units shipped in 2017, as stated by Surveys Director Dr. Richard Curtin in association with the RV Industry Association. In the OIA’s Outdoor Participation Report, research shows running, jogging and trail running were the most popular activities among Americans when measured by both number of participants and by number of total annual outings. This is just the start of it. Other activities such as fishing, kayaking, geocaching, and bird watching are extremely popular, especially while traveling to different places.
With the industry gaining attention around North America and beyond, The RV Bunch has big plans for the future. According to a study conducted by CBRE Hotels Advisory Group, commissioned by Go RVing and the RV Industry Association, there are cost savings of 21-64% for a four-person travel party, while a two-person travel party saves 8-53%, depending on factors such as the type of RV used and type of vacation. With this data, we predict the amount of individuals pursuing helpful discussion forums, like The RV Bunch, will rise to clear their doubts and/or curiosities. In fact, a member-based subscription forum/website has been created. Go there for more details.
As a private Facebook group, The RV Bunch is monitored and administered by a total of 4 Admins. All admins constantly, 7 days a week, review posts and comments, and will only approve positive messages that meet our strictly enforced guidelines. The admins are crucial to keeping negativity and those who do not belong out. They invest countless hours to ensure the community is gaining knowledge, having fun and interacting in a safe environment. Another aspect to be considered is that The RV Bunch brand has been trademarked under Southeast Publications. Furthermore, The RV Bunch has begun selling merchandise on its website so that anyone can wear/display their pride of being apart of this excellent community! The RV Bunch offers camping flags, hats, bumper stickers, custom license plates, plus items that are soon to come down the pipeline.
