Keystone's Brand New Outback 332 FK Is A Travel Trailer With A Large Windshield On The Front Of The Luxury Towable
RVers looking for the perfect blend of nature immersion and modern home convenience shouldn't miss this window of opportunity: Keystone Outback Division's brand new Outback 332 FK is a travel trailer like no other on the market today thanks to a large windshield on the front of the luxury towable, “giving customers the best of both worlds – they're well-protected and have natural light,” said Product Manager Tim Domiano.
“Everyone likes windows,” he continued. “It makes the space feel bigger and more open.”
A large window on the front of an RV or travel trailer is not too common in today's market because it could be subject to road debris or the rain. Of course, that's where the Outback 332 FK is different than its competitors: The window is installed like an automotive windshield, which allows them to utilize almost half of the front end without a concern of it leaking or getting damaged. There's a patent pending on the installation, making the window's innovative design a one-of-a-kind experience travelers can only have with the Outback 332 FK.
“It's really unique to walk into the front of the Outback and you see this nice, bright classic white-looking trailer with a black windshield,” said Domiano. “It offers such amazing visibility. If you're on the beach, sitting in the Outback during the day, overlooking the ocean... Or if you're in a secluded campground...there's visibility all the way around the front of the trailer.”
Along with the eye-catching front window, the Outback 332 FK also sports five additional windows and an open floor plan. It's definitely for people looking for “a lot of space,” and it can comfortably accommodate up to eight people, making it ideal for both campers looking for a weekend getaway and for people looking to use it seasonally. Despite its size, the Outback 332 FK is only 8,500 pounds, making it easy to tow.
Offering 30 modern open floor plans, the Outback 332 FK is also fully equipped with enough modern technology and creature comforts to truly feel at home, including LED lights, charge ports and a 50 inch television in the living room, a stainless steel microwave in the kitchen and a deluxe innerspring mattress in the bedroom. The trailer also sports high gloss fiber glass on the outside and frameless windows, as well as a seven-point automatic leveling to keep it stable.
While the flawless interior is appealing to people looking to get away in comfort and style, it's truly the large window that draws travelers to the Outback. It's what drew people in at the company's open house in September, where the new model was at the front and center of the Keystone booth.
“During the day – or even at night – the window looks really, really awesome,” said Domiano. “During the day the window is tinted enough where you can't really see through it, same with nighttime. You can turn every light on in the unit but you'll still be private, with a pull-down shade. At a campground, this will be a model that will have everyone knocking on the door, wanting to look at it.”
And if there's anyone who knows what stands out in the RV world, it's Domiano, who has worked at Keystone for 15 years (with the Outback division since day one). He grew up in the RV business: His father was in the business for 50 years. That allowed for the family to travel and vacation by RV constantly.
“One of the things I like in an RV,” he said, “is the creature comforts of your home. When you go away, you feel you're at home. You're not missing this and that. You have your own bed, your own dishes... It's like taking your home with you. I like the friendliness and openness of the RV parks, the people you meet.”
And he believes the best way to experience an RV park is through Keystone, which has been around for 15 years and produced over 70,000 units since day one, something not many RV retailers have accomplished. The reputation Keystone and its Outback division have in the marketplace is what Domiano is proud of and why he stands by all of their products.
Domiano hopes travelers will set their sights on the new Outback 332 FK model, which blends innovation and technology with the fundamentals of RVing: The large windshield allows travelers to see all of the sights around them, to experience the beach, the forest, the mountains, in a way that most RV's can't. Even while they're in the comfort of their RV, watching television or entertaining guests, the beautiful scenery will be all around them, reminding them why they escaped in the first place.
