Seasons Open :

Shenandoah Hills Campground is a small family campground in the rural countryside of Madison County, VA which backs up to the Shenandoah National Park where you'll find Skyline Drive, hiking trails and breathtaking views. We have RV sites, tent sites and cabins. We also offer Extended Stay sites as well as Seasonal Sites in addition to our FHU and WE sites as we are open year round. We also have facilities for groups to come and have a great weekend. We are nearby the underground wonders of several caverns, as well as Montpelier and Monticello and some Civil War Trails. If you like to fish, we have our own Catch-and-Release fishing pond with lots of big catfish, brim and bass. There is horseback riding and hunting nearby too. This area is also home to several vintners with their own brand of wine just waiting for you to try. Our campground makes a great place to settle in and plan your itinerary while you're in our area or just relax and enjoy nature. Make sure to try our Bison Meat while you are here! It's healthy and delicious!

Shenandoah Hills Campground Reviews

Quite, sleepy campground

First time here and won't be our last. Staff is extremely friendly. Used to be a KOA so very kid friendly. Has a rustic feel to it. And, if you like meat, you're in luck. THEY SELL BISON MEAT at the camp store!!!
