Pinehirst Campground

Very good location, there's a shuttle to the city and beach

It's an old campground, there are many of this style campgrounds around New England. Mostly populated by seasonal guests, but they do keep some spots for short-stayers. They have decent pools (there is a separate adult only pool, too), they throw events from time to time (we were lucky to capture "Christmas in July", which was really fun). The best part of the campground is it's location, if you want to enjoy the ocean and a bit touristy Old Orchard beach town with rides and ice creams. There's a town bus which stops at the campground and that's a convenient way to get to town or the beach. And all the fun is really close!
