Patterson is located about 45 miles southeast of Livermore, CA along the I-5 corridor, 92 miles south of Sacramento, and 89 miles southeast of San Francisco.
While in the area, there are many places to see. Just to name a few, Yosemite National Park, Sequoia National Park, California Valley Wine County, Monterey Cannery Row and so much more. Sites are on gravel near freeway. Easy to find, access and park in. No one in the office when we arrived at 3:00, but they had posted our reserved site and we were able to locate it on the wall map (maps were not available to take). Staff seemed marginally interested, but OK. Good value for RPI members.
