Waves Lull You to Sleep

So pleasant to hear the surf all night! Previously first come, first serve; they?ve started taking reservations @ 805.654.3951 or www.venturaparks.org. Check out time is 11:00. Inner sites 1-7 & 29-31 have full hookups; outer sites 8-28 are dry. Many generators running on dry sites, but they're closer to the ocean. Train track is nearby. At low tide, the beach is exposed. Lots of surfers and paddle boarders - good beginner wave. Rocky entrance so bring booties or beach shoes. There is an outdoor shower as well as warm indoor showers. If you used them, bring quarters & flip-flops. $0.50 for 3 minutes. Showers and restrooms were clean and tidy; sites slightly less so. Watch for dolphins swimming by!
