Major Marine Tours is an award-winning, family-owned glacier and wildlife cruise company that offers cruises into two of Alaska’s most popular destinations: Kenai Fjords National Park and Prince William Sound. We offer six cruise options departing from Seward into Kenai Fjords National Park and Resurrection Bay and two cruise options departing from Whittier into Prince William Sound. Our cruises operate from late-March through mid-October. Our cruises departing from Seward explore the world of abundant wildlife and towering glaciers that can be found in Kenai Fjords National Park and Resurrection Bay. From half-day family-friendly cruises to full-day small vessel adventure cruises, we have something for everyone. You will see abundant wildlife such as humpback whales, orca whales, Dall’s porpoises, Steller sea lions, sea otters, and many species of seabirds. Prince William Sound is known for its calm, protected waters and dense concentration of glaciers and waterfalls, which you will experience on one of our two cruise options departing from Whittier. Glacier enthusiasts will enjoy our 4.25 hour Blackstone Bay Glacier Cruise which visits three actively calving glaciers. Our 5 hour Surprise Glacier Cruise visits one active tidewater glacier and travels farther into Prince William Sound, providing the best chances of seeing wildlife in Prince William Sound.
