Travel is an essential pastime and pursuit for many of us. While travel in general has always been a popular pursuit and continues to grow, the world of RV travel is also at an all-time high. More and more people of all different walks of life are purchasing RVs and heading out on the open road. This is a lifestyle movement that is gaining steam for good reason – RVing is truly amazing and something that I would recommend to anyone who has ever had the itch to travel in any capacity. There is a very freeing element to getting behind the wheel of an RV. You are in control of your travels in a way that is not possible via other means of travel. You are captain of your own ship and decide its course with every turn of the wheel.
But why is RVing at an all-time high? Why are so many people packing up into motor homes both for quick trips and also for extended adventures? While there are plenty of reasons for this and each individual RVer has their own interests in mind, a few common reasons to help you understand the popularity of RVs and the lifestyle in general might persuade you to join in on the RV fun.
Demographics are Changing

When I see these posts or images, I know it excites me to want to similar trips and adventures to these people. This, in essence, has been an era of vast promotion for the RV lifestyle and has shared the many amazing aspects of it with people who may not have known about it beforehand. This has created a popularity and an image surround the lifestyle that is fairly new and has done quite a bit to increase awareness about all-things-RV.
There are More RV Resources Than Ever Before
I touched on this a bit above, but the rise in popularity of RVs combined with our modern digital age has made RVing more accessible than ever before due to the fact that there are more RV-specific resources now available. RV enthusiasts are more than willing to share knowledge and resources, and this has also increased the popularity of the lifestyle as well.
