Streaming services for Rvers can allow you to not miss a thing while on the road! The newest streaming service to hit the market after a long-awaited arrival is Disney+, and people everywhere are going nuts over it. If you haven’t jumped on the bandwagon yet, you may be wondering if you should.
Honestly, the answer is likely a resounding “yes” no matter who you are. However, if you’re an RVer, you definitely want to give this amazing streaming service a try.
Why am I so convinced of this? Well, as a fellow RVer, I’m able to look at the service from an RVer’s point of view. What I see are a number of reasons why the camping (and yes, full-timing) crowd will adore this new option for entertainment. All of these fantastic reasons come together to create what I believe is the most perfect in-RV entertainment option yet.
Below I’ll explain five reasons why I believe every RV enthusiast will enjoy having Disney+ as an entertainment option in their tiny home-on-wheels. Read on and be convinced!
It’s no secret that RVers like to wander. After all, they even own little homes they can take anywhere. These wanderlusters prefer portable things that can be taken on all of their adventures. In some cases, this means capsule wardrobes containing only the essentials; in others, it means laptop computers instead of desktop options.
Yet another example of this portability preference is the type of in-home entertainment they choose. DVDs are bulky and difficult to pack and keep track of. Meanwhile, the portable satellite dishes required for satellite TV on the road are more trouble than they're worth.
For this reason, many RVers turn to streaming services for entertainment that seamlessly moves from place to place. Disney+ is an amazing streaming service that, like other such services, can be taken anywhere without hassle. It can be used in the house, in the RV, or absolutely anywhere you may wander.
#2: Cheaper than Other RV TV Options
In addition to being easily portable, Disney+ is also a fabulous in-RV entertainment option because it’s so darn cheap. While some travelers are paying out the nose for satellite programming that’ll travel with them, Disney+ is offering an option with a seemingly endless supply of movies and shows for only $6.99 a month.
This is even cheaper than Netflix, and while Disney+ could definitely be used in combination with Netflix and other streaming services, some may find it’s a worthy replacement.
Those who do choose to switch to Disney+ exclusively will definitely save some money by making the switch. This means more money for sightseeing during your travels—a major bonus in my humble opinion.
#3: Free to Verizon Customers
It’s a pretty well known fact in the RV world that, of the cell companies out there, Verizon offers the best coverage in the United States. For this reason, many RVers own Verizon hotspots that they use for internet access while traveling.
Of course, when a hotspot is your main way of staying connected to the online world, a few gigs a month just isn’t going to cut it. Therefore, the vast majority of these customers have some sort of unlimited plan.
Fortunately for these individuals, Verizon is offering a super cool deal to their unlimited customers: free access to Disney+. That’s right! If you’re a Verizon customer with an unlimited plan (as so many of us are) you can get an entire year of Disney+ without paying a dime.

#4: More Adventures
In addition to being wanderers, RVers are also adventurers. Therefore, the RVers of the world will love that Disney+ gives them a way to keep adventuring even while sitting on the couch or laying in bed. In fact, there are so many amazing adventures available on the service that you could easily watch for days without running out.

If you plan on spending the cold season visiting the most magical place on earth, Disney+ will prepare you for your visit by refreshing your memory on the classics and introducing you to the newer Disney flicks. It’ll give you a way to reference Disney’s programming quickly and easily when you realize you don’t fully understand an attraction because you haven’t seen a certain show.
Lastly, Disney+ will allow you to keep living and reliving that Disney magic long after spring has sprung and you’ve left the Sunshine State for different adventures.
Clearly, Disney+ is an awesome addition to any traveler’s arsenal of entertainment. Why not give it a try today? Free trials are available, but we’re betting you’ll choose to hold on to such an awesome streaming service. I know my family is going to!
