A state park in Northern Indiana continues to offer visitors an exhilarating winter experience on the Toboggan Run at Pokagon State Park. Pokagon State Park is located near Angola, just off I-69 in Steuben County. Among the features unique to Pokagon is the stone and log structures built by the Civilian Conservation Corps from 1934 to 1942.

The Buzz speaks with Town of Fontana Dam worker Zelerie Rogers on perhaps the most appealing aspect about the Fontana Dam. The Fontana Dam in western North Carolina is the largest dam east of the Mississippi, and it is reported that construction started in 1942 and completed in just two years.
